For research question 1. Is plagiarism the same as copyright infringements? I would use a Dictionary for specific definitions to compare plagiarism and copyright infringements and a subject encyclopedia because they would be the most useful for definition.
For research question 2. What is the difference between scientific fraud and honest error? I would use a Dictionary of American History for the example and experiences of events included in the source and a science encyclopedia because they would be beneficial for specific example in the science area.
For research question 3. What is the most common definition of Plagiarism? I would use an encyclopedia of science technology and ethics for the most accurate definition and a subject encyclopedia because they would produce the definition.

Amy,
ReplyDeleteYou are off to a good start. I like the idea of looking up the definitions of each concept and comparing them yourself. I might turn to scholarly journals for opinions about the difference between scientific fraud and honest error, though I am not completely sure of what you mean by scientific fraud.
The only sure fire way to find out where the information really is is to go there and look. I think you have good ideas to get started.
Keep up the good work,
Sue
