Summary

Summary: Each of the four tools had a different quality introducing material for my search topic, Plagiarism. Google books was the fastest and had the most information at quick reference however how reliable some subjects are is the question with google. I did like the google cite. Cannell library was the most educational and is my favored because Clark College is my school. Summit was professional and working for a profit as was IT Pro Books 24/7. All tools were good for my search because my topic is clear and easy to define. The most useful for my topic was Cannell Library. The most search features was google. All four tools had in common current information I could use for my search. I liked this experience. I learned about intellectual property.

  1. Amy,
Good work! Just a couple of thoughts. First Summit is not for profit. (see not below) You are right about IT Pro, though. It is proprietory, meaning that Cannell Library has to pay for the right for students to use it. There is why you have to sign in to see it.

I'm glad you had a chance to look at the options and that you can sort out when to use each and you have some practice in how to use them, too.
    Have a good weekend,
    Sue
